Rajarajeswara temple Rajarajeswara - Shiva This beautiful temple is located at Taliparamba near Kannur distrist, Kerala, India and is regarded as one of the 108 ancient Shiva temples of Kerala. The quadrangular sanctum has a two tiered pyramidal roof. This Shiva temple is cosidered a very important in south India. If there is any problem in temples of South India, the final solution is found in this Temple. The prashna is done outside of this temple in a pedha. Taliparamba is regarded as one of the ancient Shakti Peethams. Legend has it that the head of Sati - fell here after Shiva's tandavam following Sati's self immolation

Dear Venkat Rajarajeswaram is called not after the deity its after the king who built isn't it..The Udayar is called Peruvudaiyar or Brahadeswarar isnt it
