Hi Friends,
Chhattisgarh has many towns which are related to the Ramayana period as per
local traditions. Kharod is one of them which is assumed to be the place
where Khara and Dushana, two brother of Ravana, lives. The antiquity of the
existing monuments can be traced since the period of the Panduvamshi kings,
thats seventh century CE onwards. There are two brick temples which are
designed on similar style as that of the famous Lakshmana temple at Sirpur.
