It looks as if it is written in the Karandhai Seppadeugal. NO.
It is by some interpreter - whose personal fancy reflected.
For instance - Motilal Nehru - Jawaharlal Nehru's ancestory is traced to Kashmiri Brahmins who performed poojas in the Mount Kailash !!
They are Freedom fighters raised against the atrocities.

Re Brahmadeyam grants - earlier also we have discussed .. The protection and creative power was phenominal. Present day such practices are not there.

According to me, there are three classes- 1) events (things which happened), 2) facts (events validated by available evidence - this may change when new evidence is unearthed or old evidence is disqualified) and 3) interpretation - no explanation is needed for this as this is conditioned by several factors - faith, bias, hatred, mistrust, etc. One must consciously keep away from negative interpretation as such views will evaporate in a short time.
