Hi All, I had been a "dormant" member in this community for a short period. However I had been reading all the posts and gaining information on those which were posted.
Last week I happened to read an article in thinathanthi ( dailythanthi.com) on the Brahadeeswarar Temple. Some facts in that article really disturbed my beliefs. Some of them include:
1. The dome was constructed out of a single stone ( I even have a Discovery channel documentary supporting this), but in the article its otherwise (made of multiple stones)
2. The drawing inside one chamber of the temple is of the Great King and his Guru , but in this article its said they are Sanagathi Munis.
Well known persons please shed light on this. I would be grateful to them. Because, this awareness doesnt end with me.....!!!!!
The dome of the temple is definitely made of multiple stones...i think 24. The painting ....no one knows..those are just speculations. Its guessed that it could RRC and his guru...but no one knows.
