Want to know the views of our members whether it is a right decision of TN Govt to take the control of Chidambaram temple. Will it do good to protect the ancientness?
when it comes to maintenance- madurai, srirangam etc are well maintained - hence why we have doubt on chidambaram.
with regard to tradition - Maintaind in all HRCE temple. Tiruchendur - Only Pothis do poojas. In Kanyakumari temple - kerala namboodris. In Rameswaram - tradition with respect to acharyas maintained. Thiruvanaikkaval - Akilandeswari poojas as per tradition.
Hence i dont see any issue of continuing the pujas as per the deekshidar marabu.
In fact now deekshidars now can foucs more on their scholarly activity than on the money matters.
