Bangalore but If there is a way to do it, you can count me in.
  • Dear Vj,

    physics of this query right?

    Mr.Sampath.
  • Dear Satish,

Good question, our specialists may enlighten us whether we had a system of
    buying and selling slaves.

Before that you just go through this link
    http://www.thevaaram.org/thirumurai_1/search_view.php?thiru=12&Song_idField=12110008&padhi=11,
in which sEkkizhAr mentions "nAdiya adimai viRRum(vitrum)".
  • Satish,

I would like to remind you the Sundara murthy nayanar's "Pitha pirai
soodi...." song, when he sung after his slavery was confirmed by
    thiruvennainallur pithan (sivan).
  • Vj and RV,

Which Uriayur is the one mentioned here. Is this the one in Trichy or
    it is some thing else?
  • hi,

i will be in chennai mid of december and planning a few trips around
Tanjore, Kumbakonam, coimbatore, madurai and tiruparankundram. If members
can recommend a few good sites to visit ( am not spiritual and the interests
are more for sculptural beauty) would be very helpful to me
  • Vj,

I don't know how long you will stay in Madurai, there is a nice Perumal Temple in Thadikombu near Dindigul and the Dindigul Fort. If you have not visited the fort, it may be a good place to stop.
  • Dear vj,

    in the post

  • Thats a wonderful point Gokul. Thanks for sharing. Even today, for the
'dasasu' people do a sort of 'nadu kal' atlease for the name sake. Now I
    realise the origin of it.

Then Mahendra was a revolutionary in his times....
    Good to learn this.
  • thanks sir...there are many more treasures above ground which are being
