Just read a few chapters of vadapivadam in SS again....And an interesting debate started in my mind who was Kalki's better charecter...
Naganandhi or Nanadhini...
Naganandhi who single handedly created havoc in the pallava empire and makes them loose to pulikesi during mahendra varma's reign...but sacrifises his honour,his love for his nation and brother for his love for sivagami...using so many people in the process.....
Nandhini who almost destroys the chola dynasty by almost creating a civil war causing assasination attempts at all the chola princes and king but falters due to her love for Karikalan....or does she???
What are your views which was Kalkis Pinnacle charector on the antihero front....
This group has done done more than just discussing PS novel...both discussing kalkis other works and other authors if you want to read them go to the archives and you ll understand yourselves.....

Suji: i think let's not restrict to PS alone.. let us also explore the other novels of the great Kalki.. they may not be as good as PS but are certainly worth reading and u will enjoy it..... this is my humble opininion
Nandhini yum Naganandhiyum incomparables. I will tell kuraindha batcha aaru vithiyasangal:
1. Ponnu Vs Anu 2. Naganandhi had a right to the throne -- nandhini never had 3. naganandhi was a villain because of love -- nandhini used love (loves?) to show villathanam 4. Naganandhi at least had some soft corner to paranjothi -- even though nandini at times show some soft corner to vandhiyathevan, it is only a show. 5.naganandhi was a part of a victorious war -- nandini starts her vengence after a defeated war. 6. naganandhi had a backup of salukiya army -- nandini had nothing else than a handful of black magic-ers.
podhuma innum venuma -- aaru enna nooru sollalam.. the only similarity is both are brilliant people with a goal opposite to the hero characters.
Matra novels patri naanum Krupavum objections anupparadhu, engal PS Group Sariththirathil thondru thottu nihazhum vazhakkam!!! Idhai, matra vayadhaana prajaigal (i mean old members) anaivarum arivaargal.
