a beautiful temple and much more beautiful and huge pond. there is a huge vedanta madam on the south bank of it. my family has been connected with this temple for over a century. infact my great grandfather who rebuilt this temple took up sanyas and is buried n the vedantha madam. we still have atleast a person named as kalairaja in every generation. anybody wanting to visit this place - an hour and a half from karaikudi/ madurai please mail me.
