   I am Haneefa Majeed, my native place is Manavalakurichi, Kanyakumeari District. I have read the contents in the attached article. I would like to say something about a caste in our coastal area called "Nuzhayas" alias "Eezhavas". They speak Tamil but in different style. May be they are the part of one you mentioned in the article "noliyas" from Orissa and  Thengapattanam in KK Dt. They only know the work to make "kayaru" and the other materials from the outer layer of coconut.
