Yes Venkatesh. Sundarar also was very proud in calling himself as 'arroran nambi' and even criticised his 'friend-cum-guide' Swamy IyaRappan of Thiruvaiyaaru when He delayed to give way by parting the flooding Kaviri to have dharshan of Him.. If not, he will go back to his own place thiruvarur.
