Many of them studded with inscriptions & icons.
Around 60% of Inscriptions found in India so far are from Tamilnadu. Most of them from these temples. Around 60000 inscriptions have been read so far. Many others still unread.
I already got this and added in temple_cleaners. Arduous task to check which is in ruins, which is well maintained. May be members from those respective area can add a line near by with an hyphen saying OK/ ruined/ semi repaired etc and complete the list..
