    In his monumental work "Early chola art" Dr.S.R.B provides excellent
    details on many temples at Pudukkottai that belong to vijayalaya and
    aditya chola times.
    He devotes many pages to Vijayala choleeswaram, pazhiyili easwaram
    (adjascent to V.Choleeswaram), Kannanur balasubhramanya temple,
    Thirukkattalai temple etc.

    I have the book Gokul says. I dont know if I can scan it (copyright issues). The book is very good, as he says.

    There are certainly copyright issues.

    I will try to post the address of Mudgala trust which owns Dr.SRB's
    writings and we can contact his son B.Venkatraman for posting some of the
    pages.
    However this may not happen before II yathirai
