Dear All The recent unpleasant mails regading one of our members were something we are not usually accostomed to....A a group we have maintained decorum in spite of our differences and arguements etc....
But this is a wake up call...to all of us for our future endaevours...
A Anything we publish should have a link as the source and the source acknowledged( Balu has always done that) B Clearly define the various defined structures associated with the group
Yahoo group: A group interested in PS,Tamil heritgae
Varalaaru: A online magazine of tamil history and heritage....independent of PS group
REACH foundation: An independent charity organisation devoted to rural education and restoration of heritage
AASAI a arm to reach foundation
Ponniyin Selvan Varalaaru Peravai: A proactive organisation which was going to provide a platform for the charitable deeds of the group....SPS proposed a working group/council but we are yet to officially take off
thebigtemple.com A site started by PS group to provide authentic info about the Bigtemple still in progress...
We have had other organisations associated with us like Sudarshanam,Kalinga tamil but they are all individual organisations in themselves...
These things become importnat now as all our messages are available on the www.....which I am still not comfortable personally I think it should be archived and vetted before being avaialble in the www...veiws welcome

I certainly agree with you sri. Member thiru took lot of efforts to extract messages and host them on the web. He approached me as well as the group for editing and reviewing the contents. Unfortunately, this seems to be a daunting task.
I welcome suggestions from you and other members on how we can present the archives as articles rather than mailing threads. Thiru is a very tech savvy member who can implement things if we can tell what we really want.
Magane!! You just dont cease to amaze me....Excellent idea....The main problem with our archives is mostly people just click reply and add a new thread that is the main problem But a great suggestion what say folks
periya address illayaa, adhaan type panradhu kashtamaa irukkum. Reply-To pottuttu, subject delete panna marandhuduvaangalo ennamo. It would be better if we create some alias for this group's email address. I just have to type "PS" in my yahoo mail.
sari, inimale appadi podaravangalai, bench mela eri nikka sollidalaam.
for eg, your mail ( i guess mine as well) - shows up as PS on kalaignar TV, even though the subject is Credentials and disclaimers. further on your suggestion on using private and public - why should we have both, if you are segregate the two - if you demarcate one as private will do - the rest would automatically classify as the other. wont it not,
Yes, yes yes. You are right Vijay. What I said is we can set one as default: either private or public. Whatever type of mail that we find is more frequent, that can be the default one. The subject should say it for the other one.
