Dr.Shankararaman, please confirm whether you are the one I am thinking about :) ...you stay in Cheyyar right? probably you can also accompany the group on the trip to Narasamangalam.
All,
Dr.Shankaranaryanan, out of his own interest learned to read grantham and deals with a lot of old manuscripts in different languages. He is a scholar in Sanskrit (he used to talk in Sanskrit with his class mates even during our college days), has uncovered many manuscripts which has so far not seen the daylight, not heard about, works in preserving the palm leaf manuscripts and indexing and documenting them by scanning all the leaves. His work is really commendable and his dedication and humility is no match. You can never say that he is a Ph.d holder if you see him in person. Never seen a humble person like him.
Fortunate enough to have you in our group Dr.Sanakaranarayanan. I feel proud to have known you personally :)
