The project which are immediately identified and taken up are:
1) Uttaramerur kailasanatha temple- full renovation 2) Kanchipuram Varadaraja Perumal temple- restoration of paintings 3) Avudayar Koil, and Mannar kovil (nearAlwarkurichi) - painting restoration 4) Sembian Maadhevi Temple - cleaning of stone inscriptions. 5) Repair of the leaking roof of the Puri Jagannath temple in ECR, on the way to Mahabalipuram.
6) We are involving the local folks to learn the art of preservation and start the work.
We need also more volunteers to join us regularly to take up work as per instructions of Dr.T.Satyamurthy, during week ends and some work during evening hours. Dear Chandra Well done its well laid out... the blogs were excellent.. regarding conserve heritage I think you need to change the layout...a bit have a page for REACH...its concept the founders and that should be the home page with links to aasai...
