Journal Publications about Chola History...

    Today i talked to one of my University Alumni and was very
    very excited to note that he has published in 12 International
    journals about various aspects of chola history. He is an american
    and has done extensive research on Rajaraja, indian trade diaporas,
    cholas maritime expansion,temples, the economy of kanchipuram and
    what not. He told me that he will send the list of journals he has
    published in a day or two. I will send it to you guys right away.

    Its ging to be an asset to us..right??

    possible. I'm not sure how many of you explored graham hancock's
    website provided by sridhar (Please refer his mails on
    mahamallapuram).

    Infact, many foreign guys have done extensive research on the
    subject - leave alone foreigners - DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY SUCH PHD
    RESEARCH THESIS ARE SLEEPING IN MADRAS UNIVERSITY AND OTHER
    UNIVERSITIES ? There are hundereds of people who have researched
    Amarar Kalki and Cholas. IF ONLY WE COULD MAKE AN EFFORT TO RETRIEVE
    SOME OF THESE RESEARCH PAPERS - IT WILL BE AN EVERLASTING
    CONTRIBUTION, NOT JUST TO TAMIL COMMUNITY - BUT TO HUMANITY AT LARGE.

  • Right Gokul, I read a couple of papers on the net long back, both on chola coins (I am not into pneumismatics, just curious). The papers were a part of someone's PhD dissertation in Tamil Univ, Thanjavur. Their library should have a good collection- I havent been there, though.
