It is a late realisation that we came to know Vinayaka Chaturthi falls on 27th August 2006. So, it would be difficult to wind up so fast and come and attend Pooja. ASI Sriraman had already requested for postponement of the date, Kalavathy Madam (whom I met and spent almost 2.30 hrs in her home seeing all works of Karthik- amazing stuff, so much photographs- worth having an exhibition!) excuses herself and me and MAdan, if we attend and are late for the Puja Day- Veetla din kattiduvaanga! So, we are extremely sorry that we could not attend.
I had mentioned in one my mail, that 27th is Vinayaka Chathurthi day and hence insisted for 19th or 20th Aug.
But, Nanda preferred to have it on 26th and none of us raised a word against that date. Looks like, we have to postpone the plan if these many of us are going to drop out.
Let us make it in second week of September. In a way, this postponement is good that many of us will be able to plan better.
I am proposing the date as 9th Sept, Saturday again. I request everyone to reply individually if they would be able to join the trip that day.
