Temple Visits
  • Dear Rajendhra Cholan!
You are forgetting the big temple visited by all (yes it is a archeological site than temple)
bannari amman temple in the foothills of western ghats is prayed by every vehicle muslim sikh xians

the main reason no one else visits hindu temples is becuause they are not allowed
you can convert to chirstianity you can convert to islam but though we cliam we are not bound by such rituals and hiduism is a way of life we ban some humans some sects within hinduism or the rest from visiting

My freind Fiyaz walked all the way from keelthirupathi to balaji darshan when he was fasting for ramadan and had darshan he could do it then because he was clena shaven but now he has a nice long beard can he do it now

    thats why
  • Dear Sri,

There are few temples like Bannariyamman temple. Hiranyamman temple
on route to Tindivanam from Singara Chennai, Anjeneyar Temple on
route to Ooty from Mysore, Mousque near Indore..etc. These are
    exceptions, that were never examples.

Your friend Fiyaz, my neibhour Awais Khan, again were exceptions,
but, If we notice the crowd, to Velankannai and Nagoor, and
Thirupathi we can find the difference. Hidus believe in everything,
for Hindus even stone when worshipped with faith, will make it a
source for grace of god. Why not a place of worship for other
religion. Sanatana dharma goes a step ahead in states, none need to
    worship god.

    Bhagavat Gita states,

'anashritah karma-phalam karyam karma karoti yah sa sannyasi ca yogi
    ca na niragnir na cakriyah'

"One who is unattached to the fruits of his work and who works as he
is obligated is in the renounced order of life, and he is the true
mystic, not he who lights no fire and performs no work."

here the Great Lord Dvaaraikoman, never speak about God for a
sanyaasi and yogi. Similar things he conveys in Karma Yoga also.

"Theivam enral athu theivam, silaiyenral verum silaythaan" holds
    good for Hindus.

But, other does not have this liberty. Thats why Hindus, are open
    and others are closed.

I have been to Kapaleeshwara Temple during Shiva rathri. And I have
witnessed the trouble by non hindus, disguising as Hindus. So, the
ban in some temples are must. It is a differen ball game, when some
one disguises as a hindu and enter the temple and worship with full
faith. We never stopped that. Paul Pandian, was never stopped by
anyone at Madurai. But the problem comes when they place a bomb as
it happended at same, Madurai Meenakshi Temple.

    Rajendhra Cholan!
