Pl take a look at the link. I think we should climb over the keralanthakan and take closeup shots of sculptures - orissa style brahma and a dakshinamoorthy who sits in temple tower (and received abhishekams!) instead of south zone !!!
-hi all have you noticed? of recent there are many archeological articles in the hindu
when we went on thanjavur trip last year it was mentioned enroute that a dolmen( stone structure) was present in guduvanchery. also stone age implements are frequently discussed in christian college campus. all this pre historic work was done by one archeologist called siromoney (?????) will check up venketesh
FYI, Dr.Gift Siromoney is not an archeologist. He was a maths professor in MCC Tambaram. Through his wife only, we got introduced to Dr.Michael Lockwood.
Oh thats good being an expert in two things is fantastic
but then a man who digs up cave men and iron men sites, reads and deciphers epigraphy to that extent must be called an archeologist I guess. ...even if he doesnt earn his bread out of it.
