If it is acceptable to all, I'd like to propose SPS as the honorary moderator. Adhavadhu.... group president madhiri. He will be guiding a group of one or two people who will play the actual moderator role like approving new memberships, clearing mails etc.

We would need to approve membership Siva because you otherwise end up with junk and spammers and we have had a few inspite of vigilance...Hence Ram had it set up that way and me and ayyappan have done it that way so far

I feel SPS is the right person for moderator position. He can initiate lot of things being in chennai and can be a bridge between scholars and the learners.
I will try to attend by phone for the beach meeting on saturday.
Already some activities have started for Dr.M.Rajamanikkanar centenary celebrations on behalf of varalaaru.com. This will be announced in the Feb 15th issue. Apart from this, we can do something else during march. Members can propose their ideas.
