No. 250 of 1931.) > Lalgudi, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichinopoly District. > On the north wall of thecentral shrine, Saptarishisvara temple. > This inscription registers a sale of half a veli of land, tax- free, by the sabha (assembly) of Manalkal, a brahmadeya in Kalar- kurram, to the temple of Isvara-Bhattaraka at Tiruttavatturai in Idaiyarru-nadu, for 30 kalanjuof gold endowed for a lamp in it by 233 dated in the 13th year of the king (published above), Varaguna is known to have been the wife of the Kodumbalur chief Parantakan Ilangovelar.
