Dear Sir, Sundara Kaandam & I believe Baala Kaandam have been published - without the pictures. Rather defeats the purpose of 'Chiththira' Ramayanam. Last I checked, there were copyright issues preventing the re-release. His daughter wrote a biography listing his works (pub: Sahitya Akademi, not sure if it is in print still). Some of his other books were available through Alliance (e.g. 12 volumes on the azhwars, 6 volumes on Arupadai veedu etc). Best,

Thanks. Was it Alliance? ( I have seen ads like that on the back cover of some Alliance books...) Are they still in print? If you know please let me know.
>>Rather defeats the purpose of 'Chiththira' Ramayanam. Yes, I agree.

Chitra Ramayanam without chitram.. :) that reminds me of another thing.
On the side track, when 'Sound of Music' the movie that was a huge hit, was to be released in China, they translated the movie and the censor board felt that the move is quite lengthy for thier audiences to watch. So they thought of trimming the movie by cutting some scenes.
And, they choped of all the songs to reduce the duration of the movie :)
