I need to ask a favour, and though this is about Sivagamiyin Sabadham, we're all fans of Kalki and his great works here, and I'm hoping to get some help.
My publishers are trying to finalize a front page cover for my Sivagamiyin Sabadham translation, and I've been digging through as many images as I can. We need the cover really really soon, as we're sending the catalogue to the Frankfurt Book Fair, and we're putting everything togther as soon as possible. Right now, I'm looking at a few images of Mali.
Can anyone please locate and send me any old illustrations they have, from any serialized version of SS? Or even images from PS, that can be used? I'd be really grateful.
Thanks for the kind words. Madan, I'm going to have a look-see in the RMRL, tomorrow. I'd like to take a look at the old editions, anyway. I'm also thinking of approaching Padmavasan. I don't think his way of depicting his heroes and heroines was very accurate, but he has a great eye for detail.
SB sir - I see that the discussion in the group is now highly technical.:) That's a great thing ... but those days, when we revelled in the simple pleasures of PS were bliss too. What do you think?
