JEGASIRPIYAN MARAM PAAVAI
  • Dear members

One more historical novel DTP completed.

  • Queen Marampavai comes to light from a Pillar inscription at Tiruchennampoondi. The temple belongs to Parantaka-I period but the inscription we are talking about is an earlier one; that of Pallava Nandhivarman-III.

Marampavai, the queen of Nandhivarman, comes to light from this single inscription. She is of Chola origin if I remember correct.

The pillar / inscription is lying on the ground over a remains of a majestic chola Mahamandapa.

Thanks Sundar for your tireless efforts!
