    As we are aware, it is from this Thiruvallam - our Vallathu Ilavarasar Vandhiyathevan hailed !!

    Melpadi Arinjayeswaran Pallippadai was built by RRC for his grand father Arinjayan !!

    Thakkolam can also be visited.

    We can plan a one day tour covering these places.

    Suggestions welcome.

    Can Koozhampandal and the other temples near by be added.

    Takkolam will bring tears to eyes after renovation.All Miniatures gone.

    Also pl have a pick up spot for people hailing from "Puzhal Kottam". It may be difficult for us to reach "Puliyur Kottam"

    PS exclusive places?? can we plan for Aug 15th? Its a holiday and everyone
    can make it.
    We have a months time to plan. Or can we do it much earlier?

    yet somehow i feel only one day trips work out

    we can do it on aug 15
    but right now my worry is
    thiruvallam, takkolam and mandagapattu are on 3 different directions from kanchi

    Kanchi kailasantha, mamandur, kuranganil muttam....lunch...post lunch head to panamalai n managapattu

    why not start with manimangalam and then reach kanchi for breakfast
    then proceed to thiruvallam

    Why not Aug 14th ? It falls on Sunday and next day being Aug 15th, it can be a
    rest day.
    This is my humble opinion.

    Aug 15th being a long weekend, many people might have plans to go to home
    town or some where far. Can we make it on any coming weekends?

    We can either go to Manimangalam and proceed to Kanchi and then vallam and
    towards thakkolam and return to chennai.

    Or take the thakkolam route and then go to Kanchi. visiting Kanchi for
    breakfast and then returning to Kanchi might take more time

    I am available and can join the tour. I will be coming from Tambaram. Pls suggest a good place to join.

    Are we going by tourist van or group of cars ??

    Fri day - Sat - Sunday with continous holidays - members desired to plan their own progms.
