We should realise and acknowledge the fact that we are VERY MUCH FORTUNATE to be teamed with VAIRAM PALANIAPPAN, SANKARANARAYANAN, VIJAY, KALINGA BALU, SUNDAR KRISHNAN and similar others.
Dr. Sreedhar from UK, NDTV Vaidhyanathan - SMSed; Vizag Dhiwakar ( he wished through his Vazhthuppa). Ellarsee from Malaysia attended the meet. Elderly Balasubramanian attended. There are very very enthusiastic members like WIPRO Mr. Balu, Mr. Karthi and his wife, Mr/ sundaraman and his wife, ever present Sriram Kannan, Mr. Rasool, Mr. Balaji ( to name a few) and several others enthusiastically participated.
Pavithra, Satish Arun and other members who have participated in most of our earlier meets also attended.
The Power point programme of Sankaranarayanan was awesome. He just retd from Lanka this morning on a business tour and rushed to Kerala this after. dont know really how he managed to create the slides on Vaali of Ramayana before Kamban ( or Kulothunga for records) !!
He personally visited the Valeeswaram temples - cleaned and photographed several panels and without any notes detail on each temple was flowing from his memory. To clarify When Vaali was arrowed by the Ramas, each one was NOT visible to the other - he showed how these panels are sculptured on right-angle sides of a pillar !! like wise entire vaali episode on a circular pillar in Kanchi !! the meticulous he furnished were amazing. Dr. Vasanthi archelogist and Dr, Rajendran were very much appreciative. Our memebers enjoyed his presentation fully and we could not thank him properly as he was rushing to board his flight straight from the Hall !! and it is HE who gave me all the gold coloured coins depicting the Bigtemple in commemoration of RRCs 1000 th Year - which I handed over to our friends at the meet.

Vairam - Diamond is the real Dazzling diamond.. He just showed one verse of Sangam Literature which looked bland .. containing words like a crab (nandu) - mangroves roots etc., and without connections some pastoral HERO and his LASS growing thinner and her bangles becoming lose...
He showed a pictorial depiction in his next slide !! SUPERB IT WAS when looked in totality - depicted through pictures !!
The Lass fearing ill-words from the society was encouraged by her Hero to put behind such words and gain confidence to move towards their lasting togetherness by way of marriage !!
He showed slides of a Kokku (crane ) - its neck bent like a flower - and compared the flower.
Foot prints of peacock and similar looking three leaves !!
And a compilation of about (almost) 99 Sangam mentioned flowers in pictorial form with details !!
Dr. Vasanthi, Dr. Rajendran were very much appreciative and our friends gave a standing ovation !!
Vairam and his wife shall live long together like Sembula Payalneer (the water which becomes red when adopting on the red soil !!~) and render more such enlightening literary presentations together !!

Look from behind the beauty of the Bronzes - he was enlightening and when he showed some slides taken from the Art Gallary Bronzes - the beauty and splender was indeed so much thrilling..
Like the hairlocks of Lord siva, the couples clasped hands and what not !! He almost conducted a quick evalution on Vishnu Bronzes !!
He concluded with comparison between a Pallava Sculpute of Rishabaroodar at Mallai by placing the face of a Rishabaroodar of RRC Bronze and the effect was stunning and no one could dispute his views including our dear Sriraman and archeologists !! We had to vacate the hall precisely at 330 and so could not even thank Vijay properly and share our views with him. He also left with his parents and wife who were very much proud of him. His son sat in the front row and used the light-indicator in the PP programmes !!
Well done.. I recall Vijay rendering programmes in his son's School in singapore. We are so much proud of you dear Vijay.. and Master Vijay !
We should definitely arrange a full day meeting for these kind of power presentations alone..

6) கே: தேவார ஓலைகளை ராஜராஜன் தான் மீட்டெடுத்தாரா ? ப: பல சரித்திரச் சான்றுகளை வைத்துப் பார்க்கும்போது தேவார ஓலைகளை ராஜராஜன் மீட்டெடுத்த்திருக்க வாய்ப்புகள் மிக அதிகம்.

9) கே: ராஜராஜனின் காலத்திற்குப் பிறகு பெரிய கோயிலின் பணிகள் ஏன் முழுமையடையவில்லை ? ப: அடுத்த மன்னரின் ஆட்சியின் போது விருப்பங்கள் மாறுகின்றன...!!
10) கே : ராஜேந்திர சோழன் ஏன் உடனடியாக தலை நகரை மாற்றினான் ? ராஜராஜன் நிவந்தங்களாக வழங்கிய கிராமங்களை ராஜேந்திர சோழன் மீண்டும் நிவந்தங்களாக வழங்கியது ஏன் ? ப: இருவருக்குமிடையே ராஜராஜனின் பிற்காலத்தில் உரசல் இருந்திருக்குமா என்பதை அறுதியிட்டுக் கூற முடியவில்லை.
11) கே: ராஜராஜனின் பள்ளிப்படை எங்கு உள்ளது ? ப: பள்ளிப்படை குறித்து திருமதி.பத்மாவதி நீண்ட விளக்கம் அளித்தார். சிவதீட்சை பெற்றதினால், ராஜராஜனின் பூதவுடல் நெருப்புக்கு இரையாக்கப்படாமல், சிவனின் பாதத்திற்கு அடியில் இறந்தவரின் தலை இருக்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆகமத்தின் அடிப்படையில் இறந்த வரை உட்கார்ந்த நிலையில் பூமிக்கடியில் வைத்து, பூமிக்கு மேலே சிவலிங்கத்தை வைப்பது மரபு. அவ்வாறு எழுப்பப்படுபவையே பள்ளிப்படை என்றார். இதுவரை கிடைத்த தகவல்களின் அடிப்படையில் ராஜராஜனின் பள்ளிப்படை அமைந்துள்ள இடம் உடையாளுர் தானாம்.
இவை என் நினைவுக்கு வந்த தகவல்கள். விட்டுப் போயிருந்தாலோ, நான் சற்று மாற்றி எழுதியிருந்தாலோ தயங்காமல் பின்னூட்டங்களில் குறிப்பிடுங்கள், நன்றி.
