I totally agree with all the propositions you have suggestedand would imagine the rest of the moderaotors will concur!
In Dhivakar's you mised out SMS Emden which also had lovely artwork from our beloved Vijay...The cover pic could not be used then but may be in the next edition
I would like to propose Princess Kundavai aka Pavithra for Moderatorship! She may chose not to considering it is PS egroup not SS egroup!!!

Permit me to share my views. (though I am Moderator myself - i put this as a Member.. that is all ) ::
Let us open a simple lively discussion towards the following Queries to the Moderator/s ::
1. How did you come to know of this Group.
Sitting in a far away land..lokking after sick patients in the night in ICU google and surf on PS..my al time favorite and boy Did I have a big smile when I found them October 2002...... Ramchi was the founder with Iyyapan as co moderator asked if I could join as a moderator in May 2003 which I gladly accepted!
2. When did you Join the Group. Oct 2002
3. Which do you consider as your Strong point for being a Moderator ... I think to wake up and find out that there are thousands still out there who love PS and want to join us(honestly that is the reason why most members join.)
I think my strongpoint is trying to level the playing feild even if it means being a devils advocate....Trying to split personal opinion versus moderator opinion. My commitment to this elite group which gives me the chance to extend my virtual family every day!!
On a personal level I think increasing the number of Moderator's with the entry of Gokul we had the entry of the stalwards SPS Venkat and VJ...People who have the commitment and knowledge.
I joined the group when I ran into someone who started giving me info on Tamil temples, esp. the earliest ones. I was so happy to find a place forn a stranger like me, to learn about ancient TN Koils. That's it. that's what did it. I'll read Kalki soon, when I get a chance. . . kathie
1. How did you come to know of this Group. I came to know about it from a blogposting. Immediately jumped at the opportunity to be a part of it (Only interest being PS).
We are immensely pleased to see you writing - sharing your thoughts -and definitely enligtening us also on matters of mutual interst.
To tell you very honestly - there was a bias in me while looking at Chalukya sculptures..
your album eradicated that bias and
i could truly appreicate the ART ..
though I myself knew that Chalukya King Vikramadhithan invaded and saw Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple built by Pallava Rajasimhan - thunder-stcuk and gave grants and returned - appreciating the ART !!
pls repost your photo links.
Dear Thiru,
Pls post the photos link of Katherine in our file section for quick ready reference.
Respected member Shoba with her husband (from Kovai) visited our August 2009 meet and was active particpant in the events... though her husband Mr. Ramakrishnan is not PS Group member - his support is enormous.

Pardon my ignorance what does Injamaven mean....please please dont embarass me with a lovely fine tamil xplanation

Dear Sridhar, 'Inja' is just a joke on the way old Brits pronounced it, 'maven' is a Yiddish word meaning someone extremely involved in, or expert in something, not that I'm claiming that [& by the way, I'm not Jewish]. clear? kathie
