Yesterday I was reading an article in rediff. An interview by the special effects supervisor. He says 90% of the movie has special effects and all were done in India, with less cost but quality equivalent to Hollywood. It seems the movie is a milestone in Special effects. Eagerly waiting for the weekend to watch this movie.
big disappointment.... i wonder why kamal has acted in 10 diff roles for sake of it and scripted a movie with no basic story line.... atleast in citizen movie there was some story.... dialogues in the movie are too bad...Asin i guess wrote her own dialogues and all through the movie she shouts'en perumala kudu'. Make up also not so well done for the hype they had given...it looks great in some angles but in some angles it look like a very sick make up...the greatness of a makeup is u shouldnt know its a make up....but they have missed the trick... The movie doesnt speak for the amount of money they have spent for the movie....instead of the ten characters if they had spent more time on the script and narration things would have been better... kamal as story and screenplay writer has let down very badly just back from the movie so bit too disappointed too have spent $16 for the movie
Sorry to disappoint those who are eagerly waiting..
Not a "little" let down.. a major one. When will our film makers realize that great special effects/makeup/action stunts will never make up for the lack of a credible storyline?
They treat audience like idiots. In fact, using "dasavatharam" as title is an insult.. I am okay with agnosticism but this was plain bilge.
This was just a showcase for kamal's adventurism and the makeup-men's talent... No more. Still smarting from last night's mis-entertainment :(( Deepa
