The above conference was held in New Delhi 2 weeks back. It is an annual conference held every year in which scholars discuss various aspects of Indian aagamas.

I knew about the seminar. But as usual because of my work load I could not attend. But I met Dr.Nagaswamy and Dr.Kudavayil and Kudavayil Sir has given his paper "Ganga and Gandadhara in Sivagamic Iconography". I am reading it.
Dr.Kudavayil told me a shocking news..In Thanjai Big Temple..renovation work is being done by private parties and they are destroying the scultpures. He told me that he would sending a CD of what is being done there. Then I am planning to ask my Chennai bureau to take up this case.
