Vikrama Cholan S/o Parthiba Cholan!
  • This is with respect to 'Parthiban Kanavu'.

How authentic is the Vikrama Cholan, being Son-in-Law of Narasimha
    Varman I? Any evidences?

I made casual visit to Mamallapuram, last weekend. I some how feel
the 'Uli Saththam' will never cease. I wish it should not.

  • -Hi

if you visit mamallapuram definitely make a visit to the stone quarry
which supplied stones for the temples.

it is closer to the ECR by pass road

3 temples just like the pagodas in various stages of completion gives
us an idea of how the temples were built.
  • Not authentic - it was the imagination of kalki

Kundavai was also an imaginary character. The first kundavai was
    veeman kundavai of cholas.

Nothing much is known about narasimhavarman other than his vaatapi
conquest. Most of his time should have been spent around this single
activity. Only Thirukazhugukundram and few other places carry his
    inscriptions.

  • kundavai is the name of the heroine in parthiban kanavu,

the hero vikraman's mother, the chola queen is called arul mozhi devi.

did kalki see a connection between his charecters? or did he run short
    of names.

can somebody chronologically place parthiban kanavu and ponniyin
    selvan. which cam when?
