N A M E S - Bhrahmarandram-Thiruvasagam-Namashivayam vaalga
  • Interesting discussion..

    I cannot but think of the ever fascinating thiruvasagam verse in this regard,

    "Pulaagi poodai puluvai maramaagi
    pal mirugamagi paravaaiyai paambaagii
    Kalaai manitharai paeyaayi kanangalaai
    val asuraragi munivarai thevarai
    sela ninra ith thaavara sangamathul

    Ella pirapum pirathanthilaithen emperumaan
    maiye un pon adigal kandu ingu veedutrean..."

    There is a reference to kal (stone)here which is a non-living thing..any body have any idea why ?
