Peravai and Maiyam
  • Dear PS Fans

I am glad that we are going to launch PSVP.

Also the Peravai word used every nook and corner of
Tamilnadu for leading political org or local cheiftain
followers. Sorry for my late assessment and I was busy
    moving my home in UK.

The Peravai seems like a political org ofcourse we are
not. If tomorrow we print a booklet for Sadaya Vizha,
we may print PSVP. It may put wrong message to the
public another "Peravai". "Peravai" word misused so
    much.

We make our effort should go forever. I suggest
"Maiyam" or another equivalent word from PS fans seems
like a org would put impression on public an
organisation than political "peravai" by default.

This year Sadhaya Vizha as like last year expectedly
would go for 2 days. Why don't we print booklet(A6
size, 105 148mm, 10 pages) and distribute to the
    public.

If one booklet for 1 Rs then we can get sponsors to
make 100000. We can distribute in Thanjavur, Trichy,
and Chennai. We can arrange college students to
disribute that at bus stand, rail stations.

This would create more people get to known RRC, Chola
Empire etc. Earlier Kamals suggested to run this
function at Thiruseerapuram alias Trichy but I would
prefer at Uraiyur, Trichy. Infact I am dreaming oneday
Uraiyur should go separate town on its unique as
    Thanjavur, Gangaigonda Cholapuram.
  • dear vijay
    you are right
uraiyur needs to stand alone from the rest of chola towns

the city of guts the initial cholas called it
when a chola king came on an elephant in a parade a chicken/cockerel
stood in the way of the elephant and refused to budge.

the king decided this was the place to build his capital.

amongst other temples to see in uraiyur panchavarneshwarar - apaadal
    petra sthalam is very important.
  • Then if we are sticking to true names Tiruseerapuram, we shoudl call
    it "Kozhiur"

Nice legend, but rather a stupid cock.

Howdy, Stranger!
