Fighting... is that the norm of the day?
  • Cheras/Cholas fought. for what? to safeguard their people.
Why they had to fight? The Tamilians or the Human Beings do not have
    LOVE in general.
  • If fighting is the only way of life... I think we do not think
beyond a certain realm (society) in life.
Fighting in business. etc... we defined these in terms of the
    society!

My point is: 'Money is man-made. Society is man-made.' so, do not
fall for anything that is man-made. Because, man made things have
always been rooted in exploiting others.

is business success the only thing in the world? what about honesty?
    etc.
    ================================
what do I want to say?

Fighting may give temporary solution... Temporary == 50 years or 100
years. But the real solution lies in LOVE. Loving and caring and
    being affectionate.

Why the Mother loves her son?
why not the parents fight with their children?

we apply "some other logic" there. why not extend that 'different
    logic' to all other things?

if not, whatever we call "Development" is NOT development.

in the past, we killed with bows and arrows. now, with nukes.
Whites fight with Blacks and we term it as apartheid. why? we could
allow that 'fight' go on forever and 'let the fittest survive.'

we could allow casteism to decide everything and we can wipe out
masses of people -- by following the "Societal nature..." That is
what Hitler did. Genocide was/is there in Sudan. and we exploit many
in our day to day life.

In Iraq. people are killed based on their ethnicity. Do we accept
all this based on what we see? 'Fighting is human nature. a brutal
    law everyone should follow.'

Why not we accept it? what is the need for peace-keeping forces?

    why do we do it?

    =========================

all scientists wanted to find the nuclear bomb. later, after finding
what they wanted -- they all talked against it.
you find modern ways to fight. and then hate that you found
    something like that.

Subbu, modhalla Ponniyinselvan padinga. adhu padichaa ippadi yellaam
    unarchchi vasa pada maatteenga.

Definitely Ponniyinselvan does not have a plot of killings and
cheatings, nor is it a raw-thriller. And your statement that PS
showcases human situation in itself is general, after all what can be
a novel sans showcasing human situation?

    I guess you are 22, right? ;-)

Of course Tamils and human beings do have love in general, I am sure
you will get to know it as the days/years pass. For example, you
worry about fellow human beings, you care about others...you feel for
others? Dont you think this means you love others?

Same way, everyone is like you. All of us love others, all of us
think twice before decision that would affect others.
