29th - 30th Trip details

    Hi All,

    The 29th trip starts from Kumbakonam. Though the necessary details are
    conveyed to the participants, I am recaping here for those who haven't
    planned yet and possible to make it at the last moment.

    Saturday we all assemble at Hotel Chellas Kumbakonam and start the trip by
    8:30 am. Dr.Kudavoil Balu is going to guide us on that day and possibly
    visit Pazhaiyaarai, Nandhipuram, Thiruvalanjuzhi, Thirukkandiyur,
    Irattaikkoyil (Pallippadai of Sundarachola) and Sendhalai. Saturday night we
    will be staying in Thanjavur (Ganesh lodge).

    Sunday morning the function is scheduled between 10 am to 12 noon. The venue
    is the new ASI office located between Rajarajan and Keralandhakan
    thiruvaayil. In the afternoon we will visit periya koyil under the guidance
    of scholars. It's a rare opportunity.

    I feel very bad to miss this oppurtunity. I am currently, out of the country, for the business meetings and am back only on 30th to India.

    > All of them are planning to visit Tanjore temple in
    > the evening.

    I hope to be in Tanjore on the 30th morning to
    attend the seminar and to visit the peria koil, -- if
    things go as per my plan.

    Dear all,

    The countdown has begun for the most awaited trip. As Kamal,SPS
    pointed out its going to be a remarkable one.

    The first batch comprising of Kamal, Lavanya, Gokul and Krupa has
    departed already on 25th Night and must be busy visiting interesting
    places along with Dr.Kalaikovan. Sankaran and I went to Egmore
    station on 25th night to see them off. Gokul was on time and Kamal
    and Krupa joined us a bit later for dinner. Lavanya could not make
    for the dinner and she joined the team at the train.
    SPS, I dont think they are visiting GKC. Thats what Kamal told me.
    Already the same team has completed a trip in and around Kanchi last
    weekend which we all missed. I felt bad that I could not make up for
    that trip due to personal work.

    Tomorrow, ie. Friday 28th, me, Sankaran, Sriram(sankarans friend) and
    Radha (Kamals friend) are leaving to Kumbakonam. Day before, one
    Mr.Sriram, who is a friend of Ram and Lavanya called me and said he
    too is joining us tomorrow in the same train.
    Others who are joining at Kumbakonam or Tanjai, please do have
    Kamal,Lavanyas contact numbers, in case we could not meet at decided
    places due to various reasons.

    Eagerly waiting for the trip and awaiting lots of thrills and
    knowledge from this trip.
