friends, i went to thirunagari temple today. it is about 10km from sikali busstand. paid 300 rs for an auto rikshaw for up and down journey. i was amazed at this historic temple which was associated with thirumangai alwar. ofcourse the current status was a parantaka cholan renovation. but to see the kallar chieftains effortd to build so many vishnawa temples like nangur shrines and this very one. the east coast extending from chidambaram to kodiakarai has lot of intersting places. many shrines like thalaichangadu lays neglected. i myself visiting thirunagari for the first time.
