I have been away for quite a while, was busy in my personal affairs. Meanwhile I was also working on my previous articles as I found that my very initial article lack information in details. Hence I started working on making those articles at par with other recent articles. The first in series is Sanchi, I selected this site as this is the oldest surviving monument in India and also a world heritage site.
I am sure that you will be happy to see the gateways and its panels which are very intricately carved and full of stories of Buddhist texts. It will be interesting to witness the village and common life of that period through these panels.
