I had been to the Book Fair today. At the Publications Division stall the following books of C.SIVARAMAMURTHI are available for sale @ 50 % discount. Looks like very few copies are available and they also told it may become out of print shortly. After seeing me carrying these voluminous books at least 5 people enquired with me and rushed to the stall to buy it. So hurry up if you want to pick your copy.
Nataraja in Art, Thought, and Literature ( Price after discount-Rs.400/-)
Vijayanagara Paintings ( Price after discount – Rs.100/-).
Some aspects of Indian Culture (Price after discount – Rs.200/-).
His books are a treasure. Nataraja in art is a must have. There is one whole chapter on the sarangapani dance karanas where he idenfies them as krisha which is debatable. Overall a great soul who died clutching a nataraja bronze while delivering a lecture on him
Below is a list of Books by Sir. If you can add to the list, will be a great help
