I also heard such news.Infact during Bakri-ID at Mecca, Many muslim people while going around the main shrine (Holy Khabba), they wear typical white dhoti type dresses exactly similar to Pandits in north india worshipping Lord Shiva.
They wear such dresses only that time only at Mecca. No where and at no mosque elsewhere in the world, such practices. And also they remove hair from head similar to Hindu rituals.
Could there have been some similarities between Hinduism and Islam that time?
