  • Yes, this is some where built in the middle ages only
and outside of the temple there is a plaque specifying the era.
I have taken a photo of that, will post you when i get it as i have it
in my house and now i am out of station.
But it must be statedthat the tower has withstood the shocks of the
    2001 earthquake.
It is a good temple for dwarakadisa Sri Krishna.
According to the local people who had seen earthquake the entire tower shook for a minute and then stood back.
Also it must be state that the temple built at bet dwarka which is an islandand needs travellingon a boathas been totallydamageddue to the earthquake. I have personally seen the damages, however the
moola murti inside is safe. New temple is being built now.

    Thanking you,

There are 2 shaking minarates in Ahmedabad. The normally shaking minarates survived the earth quake w.o any damage. Just made 2 extra shakes.

all survived. Even buildings constructed till 1980s , The Hotels i used to stay, Corporate buildings were all survived.

What fell was all the new residential multi stories.
