I am sorry I think Dante as an English poet, he should be Italian poet.Just wanted to say he would have been famous around the globe.It is a pity that there is no Tamil University after his name.Also he was a sanskrit scholor.I have heard that he has written a commentary to Kalidasa's Kumara Sambhavam.I dont know if anyone has read or come across it.Members can enlighten this also.
