I joined this group today and i feel very happy. I am a great fan of kalki (one drop in the ocean). In this instance i remember one question and answer that appeared in madan's kelvi badil coloumn in ananda vikatan. the question was which book madan read recently, he found very interesting? His reply was there is one very great organization that was not started by anyone and which has members worldwide. To become a member in that organization all that you should have done is read PS and that if you have read along with maniam's drawings then nothing to beat that. He told he is one of the member in that sangam. I used to tell myself that i am also one of the member in that sangam. now i can proudly tell that i have become a member in the internet sangam.
I have read PS several times. don't remember how many times i have read. The book has influenced me a lot. Even in my daily life i find myself referring to PS or sivagamiyin sabatham often.
I am in search of a PS along with maniyam or maniyam selvan's drawings. The thing is i am also very much interested in arts (painting) and want to draw scenes from ponniyin selvan. It would be helpful if anyone can suggest where i can get maniyam/selvan's drawings.
I have read even other books of kalki and i love all his books. His varnanai about nature is excellent. You will be able to visualize the scene/beauty when you read his varnanais.
His fame will remain as long as tamil language remains in this world.
Looks like today is a speacial day with a new wave of members rushing in our group.Nice to see that all the kalki-hailers are slowly joiningh our group.
As someone said, for a PS fan,itz not just a story,it influences his/her life.In my case,I was very particlular in doing my engineering in Thanjavur as I could visit places listed in PS and live in my own world.
