Actually Dr.Kalaikkovan and Dr. Nalini are conducting extensive field research in Lalgudi saptharisheeswara temple. This is a pretty old chola temple - oldest inscription dating back to aditya 1.
I had written about the shiva kaapali discovery in this temple earlier in the month. Seems the discoveries have not stopped.
Very interesting details. Actually lalgudi seems to have a very very old heritage. Pre historic urns were also discovered in this area - also by Dr.K if I am not wrong.
