Dear all The Hindu Metroplus carried a recent item with the above title about the planned release of a book on Vaikunta Perumal Temple by Prakriti Foundation. This is avalable on the internet at http://www.hindu.com/mp/2009/12/31/stories/2009123150600400.htm I am interested in getting a transcript of Historian Romila Thapar's lecture on "Cyclical and Linear time in Ancient India" at this function. I am also interested in getting a copy of the book on Vaikunta Perumal Temple. As I live in Coimbatore I may not be able to travel to Chennai for the function.
