PS for Kids ...
  • I heard from a friend of mine that there is a PS version for kids by one
Ms.Karpagam. I wish to know the authenticity of this information. Anyone in
our group heard of this work?

  • No idea but have had this experience myself, my first read of Ps was actually with a group of kids. I was in PU and skipped all the parts they did not need liberally. It was a great experience except until the end when none of the 'vaandugal' would speak to me for a few months since they thought i had force closed the story with no conclusions.
Some of them still recall that with great amusement :))

Anyways I would highly recommend Parthiban Kanavu for kids. If you are a good storyteller you can manage to hide the identity of the sivanadiyar and hold the story to the end. They are no significant 'adult' parts to be omitted, not many cheesy love dialogues and definitely a good glimpse of history for them.
  • Yes. I read about it some time back in Hindu Young World.
