Dear SPS & Satheesh, Are those Thiruvaiyaru trophy pillars from Nolamba country [area now mainly Anantapur dist., AP] really greenish?
All the murthis I've studied by that dynasty in Govt. Mus. are almost black. They were expert sculptures --, very appealing work, witness the dikpalas now in Chennai. I'd really like to see photos of them, too. Kathie
