  • Dear All,
Pls find the blog about our today's programme.
The book authored by Mr.Kannayyan - we had very few copies given by him.So me, Nandakumar and Natarajan are planning to go to Pulavar Kannayyan's home at Mayilam on 24th May 2009, and record all the data and make them into pdf format. If Mayilam has some interesting places to visit around, we can make it as a heritage trip and all other members can also join. Pls let me know how to go about.

We have the following plans for heritage trips during forthcoming days:

31 st May - Visit to Pazhaverkadu Adhi Narayana Perumal temple, Palaivana nadhar temple on the way back, Koviladi Island, at the back waters and the Chola temple there, Dutch cemetery, etc.. We have to start very early by 6 AM here and be there by 8 so that we can leisurely see all the places. I call the Adi Narayana Perumal temple a mini-ankorvat, and members would know while visiting why call it so.

A trip to Puducheri and few ASI monuments around Puducheri. Alambra Fort, Thiruvakkarai, fossil stone tree and Kali temple can be a part of the entourage. And a trip to Kaattu puthur, nearTrichi - hospitality and shelter -hosted by our member Ms.Swarnamalya, both the above trips in June 2009.

Please join 'temple_cleaners' yahoo group for all updates on REACH FOUNDATION's activities.
