Dear members,

This day, January 30, 1948, "the light of India" was gone. The father Of Our

Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was assasinated.

Indians and all the peace lovers of the world had to hold their hearts.

I dont know how far, Mahatma's preachings reached the people of India.

Let us "try"to follow his preachings which are very simple, yet very hard to

put into practice by the present generation.

when we make an attempt to perceive the meaning of "Mahatma",

we can assure ourself that we are going in the right path.

Mere garlands and speeches, are not needed. Let us pay tribute to the

one and only Mahatma of our country, by trying to follow his preachings on

'Ahimsa'.
