Hv just been on a short but sweet trip to temples around Trichy, Tanjore, Kumbakonam, Tiruvarur and Chidambaram. Intrigued by Venkat's post in kaviri mainthan blog on the face of an englishman in the tower of our big temple, i wanted to check if there were any other such faces that will need explanation from our group members. Luckily i got to capture a few such faces. Can someone tell me what these faces and images signify?
