Siva-Parvati game of dice in Pallavan or later art in Tamil Nadu or south India
  • Vanakkam. Do you know of
    Pallava or Pandya or Chola
    sculptures where the episode
    of Umaa and Iishvara sitting
on Mt. Kailash and playing dice
    game is shown?,
    with possibly Ravana shaking it
    underneath,

    I know many Uma-Ishvara depictions
    with Ravana under the mountain.
But are there any sculptures from
Tamil Nadu where they are shown
playing dice (with or without Ravana
    below)?

In Elephanta and Ellora, the dice
    game scene is common.
