When the moon go away from the Sun's hand it is Sukla patcha and when comes near it is Krishna patch. and when unites the Sun rules and hides her in his arm and so it is Ammavasi and the Moon doesn' want to come out and she enjoys it. Hence some people start a fresh work on Amavasai.!
